How referral links work
Some website and ChatGPT application links are referral links. Cardwell may receive a reward if a user applies through one of these links and is approved. Cardwell identifies referral links when they are shown and also provides the issuer’s official page for checking current terms.
Ranking independence
Referral data is stored separately and is never read by the scoring function. Compensation does not change card scores, ranking order, reasons, eligibility, approval decisions, or the terms offered by the issuer.
Optional referral-supported alternative
If a user says the two ranked results are not helpful, Cardwell may show a separately labeled referral-supported alternative selected from the same feature-based scores. It is not a Best Match or Second Choice, does not replace either ranked result, and includes a referral disclosure.
Independent verification
Users should compare Cardwell’s result with the issuer’s current terms and other independent sources. Cardwell does not promise that the focused catalog includes every card available in the market.
